Do you know the most interesting part about being the new Youth Pastor at a church? The ones who really know the most about the Youth Ministry… are the youth! So I will want to hear from all of you to talk about what you are already doing in the Youth Ministry, the parts you like and the parts you would like to do differently. By now my email address should be up and running, so feel free to send me any ideas you have. Of course we can talk about ideas when we meet also. I look forward to our ministry together!

Do you wonder what the church will look like tomorrow?

In 10 years?

20 years?

40 years?

It will look like you.

You will be the elders…the deacons…the bishops

Most importantly, you will be the laity

Wherever you gather God will meet you; and you will carry the Holy Spirit into the world

I pray the church then will look even more like the body of Christ than it does today

The body of Christ will look like you.

I pray that Jesus will continue to do wonderful and amazing things in the church and in the world

He will do those things through you.

And even if we all might be too small to live up to the future that is ahead of us

Remember that God is with us…God is in us.

And there is nothing small about your God.

I am grateful to have this chance to be a part of your journey through life

I look forward to helping you find your steps

And discovering where your paths lead you
